This position advises on all aspects of compensation. The incumbent acts as a consultant to the Business, advising on the development and implementation of compensation strategies and policies. The incumbent delivers market-competitive solutions which support business objectives, are compliant with global standards and local regulatory requirements, and enhance the Bank's ability to attract and retain talent.

Role:

- Advises on all strategic compensation-related issues (e.g. acquisition, smart sourcing initiatives, retention and organisational change programs etc).
- Manages projects concerning the design and implementation of new compensation concepts within division
- Responds to complex individual queries regarding compensation issues including buy-outs, hiring terms and counter offers.
- Advises on pay strategies and policy issues during the year-end process including pool split, pool spend and salary budget spend.
- Ensures complete understanding of all compensation products and drives consistency across divisions, including delivery of appropriate training.
- Writing appropriate communication guidelines in partnership with other global Compensation and Reward Advisors.
- Responsible for adherence to global audit and regional regulatory requirements of compensation programs.
- Interprets market data analysis and advises on best practice, emerging trends and how best to spend available funds.
- Leading or participation in global cross divisional projects

Person:

- Experience at AVP/VP level in compensation and benefits gained within a financial services organisation
- Good understanding of industry best practice
- Microsoft Access, Excel, Powerpoint, Word etc.
