Talented Investment Data Analyst required for a well respected Asset Management firm based in Edinburgh. This award winning firm operates across a range of asset classes and have invested heavily in technology and its people to help deliver superior investment performance to their retail and institutional clients.

The Investment Data Analyst will work as part of the Data Management Team and report to the Data Manager. The Data Management Team sit's within the Middle Office. The timely flow of accurate and complete data through the Middle Office to the right part of the organisation is a fundamental assumption of the business model. As a member of the Data Management Team, you will be responsible for the quality and timeliness of data sent to various business areas

As an Investment Data Analyst your duties will be varied, you will be responsible for the maintenance, management and integrity of data management solution and repository and related systems. You will be the day to day contact point for any issues regarding data and workflow items. You will amend and send trades through to front office/back office systems. Until the data management system is fully implemented you will conduct user testing, and assist the project team with processes improvements and training. You will also be involved in any new fund launches, new client take ons, including agreeing key aspects for any new data sourcing, validation and construction requirements.

To be considered for the role of Investment Data Analyst you should with previous market data experience in an asset management company. Knowledge, experience of different data vendors is required eg. Bloomberg, Reuters, DataStream. You should have the ability to communicate at levels within an organisation, good organisation and computers skills are essential.
