Ongoing Interim position

A leading International Law Firm, who delivers advice to leading companies, financial institutions and multinational businesses is looking for a professional Training and Development Advisor to drive forward plans for employment development.

The Training and Development Advisor will support the head of the team and assist with the increasing volume of management skills training being implemented for staff in London.
The team consists of a senior manager, two training administrators and this role. The Senior Training Manager reports into the Director of HR. The wider HR team consists of 24 people in total.
As a successful Training and Development Advisor, you will:
Work with the Graduate Recruitment Team, Training Administrator and suppliers to ensure the delivery of a high quality, cost effective and relevant trainee training programme, ensure compliance with the guidelines and keep the business, supervisors and trainees informed and involved in the programme, work with the wider team on developing, designing, delivering and evaluating the trainee induction programme, which takes place every six months.
The Training and Development Advisor will be expected to work closely with the training administrators to ensure all trainee training runs smoothly as well as delivering training sessions where necessary, provide support to trainee supervisors and helping them to manage and appraise their trainees, assist the Senior Training Manager in ensuring the firm complies with requirements, processes and procedures, keeping up to date with developments in professional qualifications, and managing the process and dealing with any related issues.

You will ideally have the ability and experience to design effective development needs for different audiences, and have proven communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with the business at all levels.
