A Fixed Income Settlements Supervisor is required for a world-leading investment bank. The role is based in London.



The fixed income operations team performs post execution booking and confirmation, settlement, risk management, collateral, tri-party, and structured support for origination, sales, and trading for primarily G7 jurisdictions.



The candidate will have responsibility over a team of professionals performing in markets covering North America, Europe, Asia ex-Japan, and Japan. The candidate will be responsible for the day to day management of EuroClear, CREST, and international domestic settlements, as well as the support of collateral and tri-party settlements.



The candidate would be required to strategically build on the existing settlements team and assist in expanding the firm's market demographics to facilitate objectives to clear multiple products and through a number of custodians, ultimately expanding the firm's ability to offer clearing and settlement to clients, sales, and proprietary businesses.



The supervisor will be responsible for day to day management of the team, including performance management of staff. The role will also cover the implementation of controls, automation, risk analysis, and continuous improvement in order to build a robust processing platform.



Experience within the finance industry is essential, and the ideal candidate will demonstrate project management skills and evidence of delivering set objectives. Awareness of controls and operational risks, excellent client service delivery, and previous supervisory experience will hold the candidate in good stead.
