A global asset management company based in the City are looking for an Investment Communications Specialist to join the organisation. It has one of the largest networks of offices of any dedicated asset management company and over 250 portfolio managers and analysts covering the world's investment markets. A FTSE 100 company, that has an excellent reputation both in the UK and abroad.

This role, reporting to the Head of Investment Communications, is one of a team of 9 that sits within the Product team.

The Investment Communications Team is the guardian of the quality of external investment-related copy to all key audiences: potential and existing distributors and their sales teams; potential and existing customers, and journalists.

As the Investment Communications Specialist you will be responsible for;

-To take responsibility for a work across a range of areas and products in those areas. While the role consists largely of writing - this specialist will also encourage communication from others - product managers, for example.
-To research, write and edit investment commentary for a wide range of marketing material, press articles and statutory reports on funds for clients, potential clients and the financial press - mostly on the area of specialisation.
-Proactive day-to-day liaison with fund managers, analysts, economists and strategists

Ideally the successful candidate will have a strong understanding of equity and bonds and the various economical markets.
