An Assistant Manager is required for Fixed Income & Derivatives Operations within one of the UK's largest mutual fund managers and the European leader in pan-European equities.


The assistant manager will be responsible for helping to ensure that the daily functions of the department are carried out within the necessary deadlines. The role requires an understanding of fixed income and derivatives instruments that are being administered including CFDs, Swaps, MBS along with an understanding of the securities lending market.


Key responsibilities will be to have functional oversight over the day to day activities of the operations team, monitoring exceptions and liaising with teams in and investment management along with external brokers/custodians. You will have involvement in various projects to enhance the firm's ever increasing CFD capability, the take on of the new mortgage backed securities pool and integration of the new collateral module.


As well as the above knowledge, the candidate will be required to demonstrate proven experience in the investment industry, as well as T&C competency and solid supervisory skills.
