Data Analyst (Compliance)

A leading Asset Servicing firm is seeking a Data Analyst / Compliance Administrator to fill a new role following the completion of the project to scan and file all hard copy documentation into the Northern Imaging system. The role forms part of the new Compliance & Risk Control team within Corporate & Institutional Services for EMEA. The new team will develop and administer effective compliance practices with the support of Corporate Compliance. Initially, the new role will focus on clients in the Institutional Investor Group (IIG), Wealth Management and Asia although at a later date this will extend and include Global Fund Services (GFS) clients. The role is responsible for the receipt of client documentation from the Relationship Management teams, scanning it into the Imaging system and if necessary, logging and filing it in the Client Record File Database (CRFD). The role will also be responsible for the filing of hard copies in the files as required. It reports directly to the Manager of the Compliance & Control Risk team.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES
* Maintain records on Northern Imaging, the scanning system
* Receive documentation from the Relationship team and scan and index onto the system
* Maintain accurate records on the system
* Identify and resolve queries with Chicago and/or the Relationship teams on the set up of the system
* Track and distribute original documentation to other key operational groups such as the Tax Dept
* Record receipt of documentation on the Client Record File Database
* Update inventory sheets
* File hard copy in the Client Record File
* Track the movement of hard copy Client Record Files to ensure files are not mislaid
* Maintain an orderly filing system and details of access controls to the storage system
* Co-ordinate the set up and training for new Relationship Management staff on the Imaging system
* Provide input to enhance the functionality of both the Imaging and CRFD system
* Maintain detailed procedures
* Provide administrative support to the team as required
The ideal candidate will have proven strong administrative and organisational skills. proven IT skills: competent in Excel, and Word. Excellent interpersonal skills. the ability to liaise with people at all levels in a courteous and professional manner and the ability to use initiative and work unsupervised in a proactive manner.
