An Investment Reporting Assistant Manager is required for the marketing & communication department of a leading asset management firm, based in London.


Working in one of the fastest-growing asset management companies in Europe, the appointee will develop an in-depth knowledge of the asset management house's range of multi-manager funds.


The role of the investment reporting team within marketing communications is to provide centralised reporting services across multiple client bases, leveraging the firm's knowledge capital and developing efficient (largely web-based) business solutions for internal and external communications.


The focus of the role will be on regular client reporting: this involves the production of monthly and quarterly fund and profile fund reporting as well as client slides. The assistant manager is required to interview the portfolio managers and analysts in the investment management & research group and write commentaries on their allocated asset class. The role also includes all aspects of processing data prior to reporting and reviewing and signing off the reports.


Solid investment writing skills and an excellent command of the English language, combined with financial knowledge and the ability to articulate clearly to non-technical audiences are all essential traits to possess for this role. The ideal candidate will have good relevant experience of investment writing or proven financial journalistic skills.
