• Assistant Investment Manager

• City of London £35 - £35 p/a Contract (Part time)

An Assistant Investment Manager is required for a leading insurance market providing specialist insurance services to businesses worldwide. The role is based in London.


Under the supervision of the senior investment manager, the assistant investment manager will manage the investment assets of a number of portfolios under the control of the department to maximise returns within agreed parameters.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities:
- Performance measurement and attribution on a monthly basis
- Preparation of analysis for inclusion in various regular investment reports and responding to ad- hoc requests for material
- Assist with foreign exchange management
- Liaise with and collate data from out-sourced Investment Managers Investment analysis and research.
-Maintenance of benchmark performance and analysis
-Helping to maintain the integrity and increase the efficiency of databases and other record keeping systems

Experience of managing fixed interest portfolios is required for this role. Ideally you will have passed the IMC (or equivalent) and show willingness to study for further professional qualifications.
