Fund Manager's Assistant - Docklands £ 18ph - £23ph

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Fund Manager's Assistant in a world-leading financial services company, who's Asset Management product portfolio encompasses all asset classes, from equities and fixed income products to alternative investments.

The main purpose of this role is to support the Fixed Income Fund managers and fund managers for a range of fixed income clients, helping the Fund Manager's to prepare for and manage portfolio reviews and strategy meetings with clients.

The Fund Manager's Assistant's responsibilities include:

-Be a member of the FMA Desk within the Fixed Income Fund Managers and Trading teams
STP - Having responsibility for the prompt creation of all Bond trade tickets involving the checking of -the Client Guideline warnings with Compliance during the process.
-STP - Providing a key role in overseeing system queries during the processing of the trades between the traders, confirmations and operations areas.
- Daily responsibility for logging and filing STP trade tickets and overseeing Non Discretionary, Advisory client and Mutual Fund trade processes.
- Assist the Fixed Income Fund Managers with the management of their FX hedges and general management of their FX positions.
-Maintaining client guideline "highlights" for quick referral on Beams.

Applications are welcome from candidates with 1-2 years of experience within a Fixed Income Fund Management House working with Fund managers OR a minimum of 3 years financial services experience. You will also have a good knowledge of International/European/Emerging bond markets including debt structures, issuance methods, secondary market activities, pricing and accrual conventions.
