• Business Analyst Financial Modelling - London

Our client, a leading Institutional Investment manager has an opening for a qualified business analyst. The business is conducting a review of their third party Investment administration suppliers, and as such requires an asset management professional with a good grounding in operations. The role will involve assisting the project and relationship managers in developing a financial model for the quotes provided by the external providers, and developing a economic model based on the fee quotes and the costs of transition identified in due diligence. You will be conducting sensitivity analysis on both models, summarising and presenting the financial and economic analysis and ensuring that the analysis is clearly understood and documented in conjunction with the due diligence review. You will require a strong economic and financial modelling capability, and be a clear and concise communicator with the skills to develop compromises between conflicting requirements. An analytical mind and approach will be required to offer alternative approaches in problem solving situations, and you will also need experience of building financial business cases, preferably for outsourcing deals. Other essentials include knowledge of fund administration outsourcing arrangements (middle office, back office), a track record of successful financial analysis in the asset management sector, and financial modelling experience within the context of a data analysis project.
