• City of London £80,000 - £90,000 p/a Permanent

The opportunity of Chief Accountant would be ensuring a high level of standards is maintained with the internal controls and compliance for the group as well as ensuring the group accounting policies are maintained at all times.

This varied and challenging role would include leading the UK companies financial operations, optimise technical resources and other business assets, manage performance/development of direct reports, development of finance policy's, handling strategies budget, recommend key proposals to the Finance Director, controlling financial activities i.e. credit policy/cash flow/insurance arrangements/costing & expense control, accurate reporting, implementing agreed change initiatives and evaluating financial aspects of proposed acquisitions.

This position of Chief Accountant requires a qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA Accountant (or equivalent) from an Insurance background.
