A Fund Manager's Assistant/Execution Dealer is required for a leading asset & investment management firm. The role is based in London.


This is an exciting role to work in a busy team of global fixed income specialists, whose business has been growing rapidly. This role is to learn to be a "Day-to-Day Portfolio Manager" and Dealer, implementing the investment strategy of the team across all portfolios, under the guidance of the Director of Trading and Senior Portfolio Manager.


Working with the investment team, specifically on the fixed income and currency markets, the FMA will ensure the efficient implementation of investment strategy. The fund management group invests as a team using a combination of proprietary models & systems, in conjunction with the experience of the team using economic fundaments in a top-down fashion; but the security selection is a bottom-up process and this role will be working closely with the other day-to-day portfolio managers, credit analyst and economist and will require executing transactions in the markets.


This exciting role is likely to suit graduate-calibre individuals with some experience in the fixed income and currency markets and is now looking to enhance their career, looking at a wider spectrum of markets working in a dynamic environment with senior portfolio managers, where the impact of your work can immediately be seen.
