A Project Manager is required for product implementation within one of the UK's largest mutual fund managers and the European leader in pan-European equities.


This role is responsible for the successful implementation of new products and oversight of changes to existing products within the European investment management group.


Specifically it requires an experienced professional to act as the investment management representative in the cross-team established to launch/amend funds. The candidate will represent the portfolio managers and ensure that all decisions made within investment management accord with the guidance given by them. Where necessary feed back issues and proposed changes for their agreement.


The role will require strong working relationships within the investment community and also with other areas of the business - in particular other product implementation teams, investment compliance and investment risk, the portfolio managers and other senior management.


The candidate will demonstrate good knowledge of the products that form the fund manager's range (equity and fixed income, pools and funds, OEICs and SICAVs etc.) A solid grasp of front to back model of asset management and how the different groups interact to achieve success. Good understanding of mutual funds industry and basic financial derivatives is essential.
