A Global Fund Manager based in the City are looking for a Client Order Management Associate. This organisation is one of the world's largest fund managers with offices in 11 countries and a 3,600 strong.

The Client Orders and Servicing Group is responsible for receiving and managing orders from institutional clients within Europe and Asia (ex-Japan) and organising the downstream order and settlement processes between clients, fund managers, custodians and transfer agents. The team also supports all of the onshore and offshore fund level activity, acting as an interface between our appointed transfer agents and fund managers. The team manages in excess of 10K transactions a month - therefore a high volume/high value environment..

As the Client Order Management Associate your main duties will be;

-Receive client order instructions, interpret and translate into the order management system within the appropriate deadlines, maintaining a high level of accuracy
-Execute all required settlements to ensure client accounts are not overdrawn (in line with client requests)
-Some processes which are automated are controlled through a tool (Dashboard) which provides a control function to monitor exceptions to the process, resolve these items and ensure the appropriate parties are kept updated through to resolution.
-Ensure all orders placed by portfolio managers are instructed to the administrators and 'managed' through to settlement
-Maintain effective working relationships with our third party administrators and all internal contacts

Ideally the successful candidate will have experience in dealing with client orders in terms of setting up trades and dealing with Portfolio Managers.
