An exciting opportunity for an ambitious Assistant Facilities Manager to join a corporate governing body based in SE1, supporting the Facilities Manager in delivering an efficient business focused facilities support arm to the business.

The Assistant Facilities Manager will have day-to-day operational responsibility, overseeing both hard and soft FM services including; project/contract management, maintenance management (PPM) through Service Providers. Health and Safety, First Aid, Fire i.e. assessment, permits, training and record keeping The Assistant FM will liaise and build key relationships with contractors, so excellent communication skills is essential, along with the ability to offer an outstanding customer focused facilities service to the organisation.

The successful Assistant Facilities Manager will already have experience in a facilities role within a corporate environment and may currently be in a Facilities Co-coordinators position looking to take their next step up into a varied and challenging FM role. The Assistant Facilities Manager will have a strong knowledge of both hard and soft services, experience of overseeing contractors and a working knowledge H&S legislation's. Ideally the successful Assistant Facilities Manager will hold a H&S qualification, preferably an IOSH and will be a member of the BIFM.
