My client, one of the world's most eminent and highly respected investment banks requires a compliance officer to join its asset management function in London. The team provides support to portfolio managers and traders in the currency and equity teams .You will be required to;

*Monitor client accounts ensuring compliance with client and regulatory restrictions.
*Review investment management agreements and guidelines and other legal documents;
*Provide advice to managers and traders regarding rules and regulations.
*Prepare certifications for institutional clients and fund boards.
*Carry out pre-trade approvals of cross trades and secondary offerings.
*Drafting policies and procedures.
*Other ad-hoc requests as needed.

The compliance associate will be expected to interpret, articulate and explain complex rules, regulations, policies and procedures to both internal and external clients. Ideally you will have a interest in capital markets and strong analytical and presentation skills.
