This excellent opportunity for a Regulatory Controller has arisen within the worlds leading Investment Bank. The key responsibilities for the Regulatory Controller include:
- Monitoring external prudential regulatory developments in order to assess and influence the impact on Goldman Sachs, ensuring others within the firm are aware of any proposals that affect them.
- Managing and coordinating the trade approval process with respect to regulatory capital impact of new business
- Acting as a centre of expertise for internal clients (business and federation) with respect to regulatory capital rules, in particular Basel 2.
- Liaising within the global regulatory team and other departments across the firm.
- Managing and coordinating the Regulatory Reporting Department's work on trade approvals in particular how new trades will impact our UK regulated entities
- Analysing structured transactions to identify and assess any relevant regulatory capital implications

Our client is seeking a qualified accountant with minimum of 2 years experience of financial regulation gained in industry or with a supervisory body with a good understanding of Basel 2 ruleset.
