A temporary position has arisen for a CIS Financial Accountant based in Edinburgh City Centre. The CIS Financial Accountant will ensure delivery of financial statements for the OEIC & Unit Trust range of funds to customers.

Responsibilities of the CIS Financial Accountant:

- Undertake monitoring of processes and controls at our Third Party Supplier to ensure delivery of financial statements
- Undertake robust reviews of draft financial statements received from our Third Party Supplier
- Prepare financial statements and Board reporting for Investment Trusts and Listed Private Equity Fund
- Undertake responsibilities relating to the distribution of financial statements to customers
- Liaise with Consultants during audit of funds' financial statements ensuring resolution of audit queries
- Produce KPI's and Dashboards to monitor service levels
- Ensure all identified controls for the function, including Sarbanes Oxley, are being consistently applied and any agreed actions to improve controls are implemented

Background of the CIS Financial Accountant:

- Qualified or part qualified accountant with strong technical knowledge
- OEIC, Unit Trust, SICAV, Private Equity & Investment Trust accounting knowledge and experience
- Knowledge of current UK Regulations relating to Fund Management

This is a temp contract for a CIS Financial Accountant for approximately 3 months paying a very competitive salary. This is a Monday - Friday position.
