A Customer Services Administrator is required for an international stockbrokers. The role is based in London.


The customer services administrator provides a primary point of contact between the stockbroker and both prospective and existing customers, handling routine enquiries from people wishing to use the stockbroker's services. The smooth flow of customers through the customer service unit and the provision of high levels of customer service are prime objectives.


Key accountabilities will be to respond to enquiries and requests from both prospective and existing customers, providing a fast and efficient response. You will manage the flow of customers to ensure their smooth passage through the customer service unit, as well as follow-up on complex or difficult customer enquiries, seeking additional expertise or help from colleagues if required, but ensuring that problems are resolved to the customer's satisfaction.


The ideal candidate will have a good background in customer services preferably working within financial services and will have the following skills:

- Good knowledge of ISA/PEP administration, pensions, unit trusts and broking preferable.

- Able to prioritise workload and manage customer expectations inline with customer service SLAs.

- Proven communicator via, written, inbound and outbound calling.

- Recognise and alert customer service supervisors of trends in customer calls.

- Able to recommend process improvements.
