• Regulatory Accountant - London

• City of London £55,000 - £75,000 p/a Permanent

An experienced Regulatory Accountant is required to join a team that is responsible for financial and management reporting, product management, operational processes and control. Our client offers a wide range of financial services to our private and corporate clients from our offices throughout the UK and Channel Islands.

The key responsibilities for the Regulatory Accountant include:
- Overhauling the regulatory processes to provide better management support
- Implementation and on-going responsibility for the Basel II changes to regulatory reporting, including maintaining the ICAAP document
- Reduction in process and reporting complexity
- Create and analyse data from the UK business to support senior management's understanding of the risks and health of the business, and improve the scalability and resilience of the operational model
- Responsible for the regulatory reporting of the business, including Head office, FSA and Bank of England reporting
- Support the CFO and Financial Controller with the data for their reporting needs and decision making support

Our client is seeking a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA) with previous regulatory experience, including Basel 2 (including Pillars 1 & 2).
