• Investment Guideline Monitoring

• City of London £350 - £550 day Temporary

One of the worlds largest fund managers seeks a Compliance Guideline Monitoring Analyst to work within the Global Guidelines project team responsible for extracting and analysing client, regulatory, and internal guidelines and then coding into Sentinel, the automated monitoring system. Assisting in subsequent testing of coded rules and in the development of robust surrounding processes that will allow the ongoing use of automated and non automated monitoring to be encompassed within global guideline monitoring operations.

You will be required to:
*Review IMAs to extract guideline rules. Record in a template verbatim.
*Maintain and update system and templates for new, amended, or terminated accounts.
*Analyse and interpret rules.
*Identify data requirements.
*Determine appropriate restriction structure and data attribute requirement for appropriate monitoring.
*Liaison with, and gain agreement of interpretation from appropriate areas (CRO, PM, Global Compliance, Legal etc).
*Codify rule into guideline system.
*Test and ensure appropriate coding and system functionality within guideline system.

Previous experience essential:
*Coding of guidelines into Sentinel / Charles River
*Good understanding of client management agreements and Product Prospectuses.
*Minimum 18 months knowledge and understanding of client, regulatory, and self-imposed guidelines (preferably experience of either Charles River (CR) or Latent Zero (LZ)
*Excellent knowledge of instrument types within the Asset Management industry.
*Solid IT & data handling skills (e.g. writing SQL queries)
*Regulatory Compliance exposure
