An exchange traded derivatives clearing analyst is sought by a premier international investment bank. The role is based in London.


Trade management and clearing services play key roles in the exchange traded derivatives front to back process, with significant downstream impact on exchange traded derivatives' client base. Trade management is primarily responsible for ensuring that trades, from both proprietary and client business, are allocated to the correct accounts.


Central to performing well in trade management is the need to quickly appreciate the concept of financial risk and the resulting consequences. Once the job holder has a good grasp of associated risk issues, they will be expected to contribute to enforcing the procedures and checks in trade management which aim to mitigate financial risk.


The candidate should possess excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) and can demonstrate previous market knowledge. IAQ passes are highly desirable, though not essential.
