A Transitions Co-ordinator is sought by one of the UK's largest mutual fund managers, which serves the investment needs of individuals, institutions and advisers in markets outside the Americas, providing mutual funds, defined contribution pensions, segregated portfolios and multi-manager products.


Based in Surrey, the role's purpose will be working for the transitions team within the operations group, where you will be responsible for account implementation and transitioning of assets at the firm. With account sizes reaching $millions, every transition requires excellent coordination skills, risk management awareness, attention to detail and strong interpersonal skills. This role is important for maintaining oversight of team structure and development of key staff.


Following a new business win or advice of transitional activity, you will determine client requirements & analyse issues involved in completing a successful transition. You will also review each transition for cost analysis, management of exposure, & performance impact, and build a transition strategy.


It is expected the candidate has a securities industry background, with demonstrable experience of project management with good multi-tasking, time management, and prioritisation. High level broad understanding of the investment industry including settlements, corporate actions & cash management is essential.
