International Assignments/Expatriate Manager - City

35,000 to 45,000 plus benefits plus bonus
Role:
- End to end case management of international assignments in EMEA and globally at all levels
- Undertake assignment briefings, explaining all compensation and technical elements, and act as first point of contact for assignee/HR/business on all assignment related issues
- Review package preparation, i.e. cost projections, compensation balance sheets and assignment letters and deliver to HR/business
- Co-ordinate all third-party suppliers to support assignee requirements
- Co-ordinate internal transfer requirements for international assignments, e.g. payroll, pension, benefits etc
- Consult on Group policies and liaise directly with policy owner regarding exceptions
- Responsible for correct usage of case management tools and upkeep of live data through global technology platform
- Initiate, develop and maintain relationships with key HR/business contacts
- Respond to routine queries from HR/businesses and refer to Manager EMEA as necessary
- Ensure activity is tracked and performed within all relevant SLAs
- Manage and develop key relationships with stakeholders at all levels
- Assist in the delivery of annual expatriate Pay project and semi-annual COLA review
- Participate in ad-hoc projects as required
Person:
- Specialist in understanding all aspects of expatriate policies and procedures
- Ability to effectively convey technical matters such as tax equalisation, COLA etc
- Ability to deal and liaise effectively with reciprocal teams in Asia and the US throughout the end to end process
- Experienced in dealing with all issues inherent to the assignment life cycle, within a blue chip "in-house" or consultancy environment
- Skilled in communicating expatriate policy and procedure to key business/HR representatives
- Knowledge of all areas relating to International Mobility and an understanding of how each issue may impact on policy, process, international tax and social security, immigration, relocation, employment etc
- Tax equalisation and COLA knowledge (essential)
