My client is a leading investment bank with offices throughout the world. Due to expansion a vacancy has arisen in their equity compliance team. Based in the London offices key duties and skills of the role are as follows;

*Provide advisory services to the equity business and support groups which will include both the cash equity and equity linked business functions.
*Display a strong knowledge and understanding of FSA rules and regulations, in particular, the prevailing market abuse regime.
*Be familiar with the general functions on a trading floor.
*The successful candidate should be able to function both independently and as part of a team and must be able to guide other members of the team with regard to complex queries.
*The ability to work in a pressurised environment, with constantly changing priorities and tight deadlines is required as are strong communication skills

The successful candidate will be expected to interpret, articulate and explain complex rules, regulations, policies and procedures in a fast paced environment. Lastly, it is envisaged that you will degree educated and have a deep knowledge and understanding of equity compliance gained within a similar role
