50,000 to 60,000 plus benefits plus bonus

This global Japanese firm provides integrated business services to partners all over the world to enhance value throughout the supply chain and do this by applying knowledge, experience and core skills in market development, finance, logistics, investments and information to solve specific business problems across a broad range of commodities and services.

This is an opportunity to join the Dusseldorf office at an exciting and challenging time for the company.

The Human Resources Manager is required to deliver a value-added service by working in partnership with business leaders to improve the performance of individuals and teams to ensure business targets are met/exceeded.

The role:

- Help to drive HR initiatives in Germany and East European countries
- Proactively manage Performance Management and Learning and Development processes
- Management of Talent Pool and Succession Planning
- Provide intelligence to the business on Compensation and Benefits
- Active participation in the Recruitment and Selection of Employees
- Management of Strategic Resource Planning
- Management of the HR Information Systems
- Support and manage the International Mobility Program
- Measure HR activity effectiveness and identification of the added value it brings to business
- Develop close relationships with specific areas of the business
- Make a real difference to the whole business
- Grow your career in a professional environment

Person:

- Experienced Human Resources Manager
- Ability to deliver value-added service by working in partnership with business leaders to improve the performance of individuals and teams
- Ability to influence and build effective relationships and partnerships
- Professional passion and campaigning drive to challenge the status quo and make the people agenda live
- Ambition and potential
- Ability to roll your sleeves up for day to day activity
- Excellent verbal and written English and German communication skills
- Numerical, financial, researching and analytical skills
- Thorough understanding of the German Employment Regulation and preferably, the East European Employment Regulations
- An understanding and experience of Japanese and Asian business culture is essential
- Flexibility to travel, mainly within Germany and East Europe
- IT skills including using Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
