Senior Compliance Manager required for an international investment management organisation. The role will report the Head of Compliance and you will manage all aspects of the Compliance team in Edinburgh. This includes all staff matters for a team of up to 7, all compliance advisory and monitoring for other departments in the Edinburgh office.

As a Senior Compliance Manager you will work with the other Senior Compliance Managers within the UK, to apportion compliance responsibilities to ensure coverage across Europe. In addition, the role will require liaison with the Heads of compliance in the US and Far East to ensure consistent compliance coverage globally. The role will also cover management of external relationships including Clients, the regulator, trustees, auditors etc,

In this role you will input into the development, maintenance and risk scoring of the UK compliance monitoring programme, ensuring that the programme adequately covers all relevant areas of UK regulated business. You will be expected to report of monitoring findings to business units and work with management to progress and resolve issues.

The Senior Compliance Manger will assist, lead and organise, external compliance monitoring visits. You will ensure that information is provided and queries responded to as requested by regulators, trustees, clients auditors etc. The successful candidate will represent the company at various technical compliance forums technical compliance forums, reporting back and disseminating information as appropriate, to help ensure that the compliance team and the business keep abreast of current market practice and any changes to the regulatory requirements.

To be considered for this outstanding opportunity you will be a Senior Compliance Manager who has extensive compliance monitoring experience gained within investment management and experience of leading and developing a team. You will posses an in depth knowledge of the rules relating to UK and international collective investment schemes including UCITs funds, US Mutual funds and hedge funds.
