This leading player in over 45 countries across Europe, the Americas and Asia-Pacific, employing around 10,000 staff worldwide is seeking an experienced and articulate Dividends Analyst with exposure to vendor feeds internal settlements and Custody Systems.

Predominately responsible for the the timely collection, payment of cash dividends and coupons on behalf of proprietary positions, across all entities supported by the organisation. The role covers a wide range of global markets, both established and emerging.

This role is principally involved in ensuring that P&L is correctly affected by the payment and receipt of related dividend payments. There is also a high degree of liaison with counterparties and agents to ensure the timely settlement of payable and receivable entitlements.

Main responsibilities:

*The accurate calculation of entitlements and market claims to ensure the timely and accurate collection and payment of cash dividends and coupons
*Maintenance of all control and risk-related procedures to ensure that a consistent approach to processing is maintained throughout the team
*Receiving timely dividend and interest payment information from vendors and Sub-Custodians.
*Using internal systems to determine accurate positions and calculate entitlements and tax liabilities.
*Liaison with market counterparties and /or traders to ensure the timely settlement of claims.
*Maintaining accurate systems records at all times to ensure that positions are reconciled.
*Keeping abreast of market developments relating to income collection practises, developing procedures in line with such changes and handling all related enquiries.
*Monitoring cash reconciliations to ensure that all dividend and coupon related items are identified and cleared in a timely fashion
*Preparing and lodging tax reclaims and monitoring them through to settlement


To become a successful Dividends analyst in this role, you must have proven working experience gained within a custody business in both established markets and emerging markets. You will also need to have has exposure to vendor feeds internal settlements and Custody systems.

This is prime opportunity someone who has the relevant experience and is hungry for success in a high-pressure environment.
