• Fund Controller - Luxembourg

• Luxemburg €60,000 - €75,000 p/a Permanent

This excellent opportunity for a Fund Controller has arisen within the Luxemburg office a highly respected Top Tier Investment Bank and Asset Manager. Our client has an investment objective to seek current income and long term capital appreciation through investment primarily in core office real estate assets across the Europe. The Fund, set up in 2003, currently has assets under management of approximately €1.6 billion and is actively investing with significant short-term growth plans.

Key responsibilities for the Fund Controller will include:
- Preparation of quarterly and annual consolidated Fund accounts and external reporting to investors
- Liaison with the Fund's external service providers (eg. custodians, local accountants, tax advisors, auditors)
- Management of the annual audit process for the Fund and the Management Company and for ensuring that all local tax and reporting filing deadlines are met
- Liaison with Investment Controllers in Europe to ensure accurate reporting delivered on a timely basis and to coordinate the distribution of cash from the investment level to the Fund
- Formulate responses to Investor and Business Unit queries/provide specific information or reporting on an ad hoc basis
- Preparation of books and accounts for entities within the fund structure and liaison with external accountants to control and review accounting of out-sourced entities

Our client is seeking a Qualified Accountant (or local equivalent) with approximately 3-4 years accounting experience (ideal with Real Estate funds knowledge).
