A new and exciting opportunity has arisen with one of our leading clients based in Edinburgh. A Statutory Accountant Team Leader position is currently being sourced to join our Asset Manager client's tight knit and dynamic team.

The Statutory Reporting and Taxation Group in Edinburgh is responsible for all aspects of the preparation and issuance of interim, final and other financial statements of the collective vehicles serviced by IS Edinburgh on behalf of its clients.

The main responsibilities of this position include the production of interim and final distribution rates, preparation of reconciliations to NAV calculations for audit purposes, preparation of tax provisions as well as producing accurate income forecasts and tax reviews whilst maintaining client requirements.

The ideal candidate will be part qualified / qualified ACCA/CIMA ideally with an accountancy based degree, preferably have 1 or 2 years experience within financial services or equivalent. The candidate must have strong attention to detail skills and strong analytical skills.
