• Equities Exotic Analyst

• City of London £40,000 - £55,000 p/a Permanent

Our client is a leading global financial services firm with operations in more than 50 countries; they are currently seeking an FVP Equities Exotics Analyst to join their London Office, covering the EMEA Exotics and Hybrids Business. Finance Valuation & Policy (FVP) is an independent group within finance whose primary responsibility is to ensure that the valuation of the firm's risk portfolios, are fairly valued.


Key Responsibilities include
Supporting the coverage of the Equities Exotics and Hybrids Business
Work with colleagues to develop price-testing and reserve policies - ensure that these are well considered and capture the economic reality of our valuation risks
Considering the potential threats to our valuations of products within Equities Exotics and Hybrids business and ensuring that all relevant parameters are identified and evaluated

The ideal candidate will possess
Enthusiasm and energy to work to tight deadlines
Ability to understand complex products, and analyze transaction and process flows
Knowledge of derivative pricing, risk and valuation
Excellent written and spoken communication skills with previous exposure to the trading floor
