• AP Supervisor - London

• City of London £30,000 - £35,000 p/a Permanent

This renowned financial services group are looking for an Accounts Payable Supervisor to join a successful team. Our client offers integrated financial services to companies, institutional investors and individuals.

The responsibilities for the AP Supervisor include:
- To help develop policies and procedures in line with a first class Accounts Payable function
- Assist the manager in setting deadlines and managing workload
- Scanning and Coding of Invoices for authorisation and payment when necessary
- Chasing appropriate colleagues to clear outstanding/aged Invoices
- Managing relationships both internal and external
- Preparation and execution of periodic BACS runs
- Assisting the AP Manager with the Company Barclaycard
- Help with reconciling Supplier statements and resolving exceptions/differences
- Resolving ad hoc queries or issues raised by internal colleagues
- Ad hoc tasks as required
- Assisting AP Manager with the implementation of a web based Accounts Payable system

Applications are welcomed from candidates with previous experience of working and developing an Accounts Payable function and ideally Financial Services experience. Previous supervisory experience is desirable but will also consider candidates who are looking to take the next step.
