A Product Manager for indices is required for one of the world's leading providers of index-based investment solutions.


As a member of the product management team, the product manager for custom indices products will act as the internal and external 'champion' for the firm's custom product lines in priority local markets. The role encompasses researching market and client needs, identifying new opportunities, developing product roadmaps and launching new products and services to the market.


Key areas of responsibility are to research market requirements (at both a global and regional level) for new products and services (including both extensions to existing product lines, as well as new product lines and custom developments) as well as acting as the focal point within the firm to articulate new product requirements.


This is an important role that carries significant responsibility for identifying new revenue sources that will contribute to the firm's growth. It is therefore expected that the jobholder will have:

- Extensive experience within the financial services sector

- Previous knowledge of index based investing - gained either from working for an index provider, or from using indices within a financial services role

- First class analytical, communication and project management skills
