Interim Graduate Recruiter - London
Global Banking Organisation
40,000 to 50,000 plus benefits plus bonus - 9 month Fixed Term Contract
This role requires very strong project management and Graduate Recruitment experience, along with solid stakeholder management ability.
Working in a team supporting the global businesses and recruiting hundreds of graduates and interns per year, you will report to the Global Head and your key duties will be as follows:
- Management of the Graduate Recruitment and Development programme
- Assume responsibility for the 'life cycle' of each programme including: attraction and selection, university relationships, business relationship management and talent development.
- Build close working relationship with key stakeholders
- Technical partner to HR representatives of each business area
- Identify appropriate divisional representatives to engage with; establish steering committees and key representatives to establish recruitment strategy.
- Delivery of campus activity and end to end recruitment process
- Setting the strategy for attraction events and managing the annual campaign calendar for each business area
- Reviewing and selecting Tier 1 and Tier 2 Universities for each business area
- Involvement in campus activity such as careers fairs; milkround presentations and bespoke events
- Establishing University Teams for each business to ensure a focused coordinated approach
- Working with other Senior Recruiters in the team to establish a cohesive approach to campus strategy
- Actively participating in assessment centres
- Proactive management of applicant pipelines by business area
- Producing MI reporting on a regular basis if shortfall in applications is identified ensure appropriate action to address
- Reporting to both stakeholder and HR representatives on campaign status and applications received; highlighting successes or issues if identified
- Responsible for managing the career of business area graduates during the 1st year on the programme: rotations: appraisals; development interviews; training programme
- Working with the Training manager and business area to meet the changing needs and to influence the development of individuals in the 2nd year of the development programme
- Managing attraction events, extending offers; closing candidates; collecting all documentation prior to pre-employment screening (including visa requirements); ensuring contractual documentation is issued; candidate liaison and maintaining "keep warm" activities, reviewing structure and contents of materials used in assessment process and comparing accepted offers and declined offers to collect feedback and continually improve processes
- Working with the Marketing and Attraction representative develop effective and innovative internal/external network of key contacts and marketing campaign to attract the high quality graduates for the business and Influence and educate line managers on graduate attraction and selection strategies
- Working with the Training and Development representative to ensure training needs for graduates and business are met
- Forecasting required selection spend to deliver the recruitment process for business area
- Responsible for coming in on budget; approving, querying and processing all relevant invoices and charges
- Managing junior recruiter to ensure on-time delivery of hiring targets for business area and the smooth running of the life cycle programme
- Ensure close liaison with all geographical locations to ensure a diverse and international population
