• Derivative Business Analyst - London

• City of London £500 - £550 day Interim

Our client, a leading Investment Bank is seeking to hire a Business Analyst in London to support the delivery an Equity and Equity Derivatives front-to-back re-engineering programme. You will be part of a team that supports the change programme by helping the various groups prioritise initiatives & implement them in a controlled manner, with no negative impact on day-to-day operations. Its objective is to deliver approved projects on time & to budget, achieving the stated business benefits. The programme includes a mix of discretionary & mandated initiatives across Derivatives & Securities, so an appreciation of legal, regulatory, compliance or market changes eg, MiFID, DTCC Trade Warehouse etc, will be central to the role. This position is key to the requirements gathering, testing, data migration and implementation phases of the project, where the objectives are to improve the client experience, reduce operating costs, improve processing efficiency & support the delivery of new products / processes. The successful candidate will have prior experience of working on projects, ideally in different roles e.g. analyst, tester, project administrator, as well as being able to demonstrate assertiveness, influencing and diplomacy skills. You will also need knowledge of structured business analysis (e.g. 6 Sigma) / and design (e.g. UML/RUP) techniques, experience of working in Investment Banking and a thorough knowledge of Middle office & Settlements processes, especially Derivatives and Securities.
