A leading global investment banking, securities and investment management firm that provides a wide range of services worldwide to a substantial and diversified client base that includes corporations, financial institutions, governments and high-net-worth individuals is seeking an ambitious Currency Operation s PB Analyst with strong FX &derivative product knowledge a must.

This role will see you directly interacting with the Firm's clients to ensure proper representation of the positions for the client. You will responsible for ensuring the booking and reconciliation of all client trades intraday as well as the reporting needs.


Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

* Strong focus on client service, striving continually to maintain and improve our service to clients, through leveraging our market leading infrastructure and resources

* Minimising client trading risk by ensuring timely and accurate trade matching and booking as well as daily client contact to resolve trade breaks and position reconciliation

* Actively manage Operational risks related to all aspects of the PB business

* Focus on on-going process improvement and increased efficiency, working to ensure client requests are managed efficiently at the same time as maximising control


* Develop extensive knowledge of the PB business, its products and confirmation media (SWIFT, DTCC, SWAPSWIRE, CLS, Vendor Platforms, Traiana) and stay abreast of upcoming developments including related project work to move these initiatives forward for our client base

* In the first 3 - 6 months the you will be focused on developing a working knowledge of all functions of the MO specifically focusing on the FX component of our business.

* Once cross training has been completed you will be promoting STP were possible through project work and client relationship management while stream lining the process and maintaining a high level of risk and control.

You will have had previous experience and exposure to FX / Credit Derivative trade bookings in a trade support function.
