An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Tax Consultant to work within an international banking organisation based in central Edinburgh. Our client is currently adapting their banking system so they can process and handle all aspects of UK personal and businesses banking needs.

The Tax Consultant will be required to guide our client in respect to any taxation issues arising from interest paid on deposits. The Tax Consultant will also be required to work on a consultative basis with current staff, providing them with all the information that they require to ensure that their current system meets all UK tax regulations.

Background of the Tax Consultant:

- Solid working tax knowledge. Ideally 3 years plus of working within tax field.
- Solid understanding of UK tax compliance
- Extensive knowledge of interest payable on deposits would be desirable but not essential
- Working experience within the banking industry desirable but not essential
- Ideally ATT or CIOT

This is a short term contract for a tax constant paying £200.00 - £300.00 per day with the possibility of future contracting roles. This is a Monday - Friday position.
