A trade finance officer is required by a prominent, premier banking firm , which offers a broad range of tailored asset and liability advisory and financing services in the debt and equity markets.


Based in London, the purpose of the role is to process trade finance business including instruments such as letters of credit and collections as well as associated payments and advances, in a cost efficient manner ensuring adherence to all procedures.


Chief accountabilities will focus on ensuring all transactions and reporting are processed and settled on a timely basis, with priority given to trade related transactions in conjunction with trade finance management. The successful candidate will also identify and resolve errors promptly and report promptly to trade finance.


The ideal candidate will demonstrate extensive knowledge of trade finance products including; all aspects of documentary letters of credit; documentary and non documentary collections; payments; and remittances. Experience with major commodity trading companies is an advantage. The candidate is expected to have an understanding of processes used to complete trade related work.
