• Assistant Treasury Accountant, 28k

• City of London £24,000 - £28,000 p/a Permanent

Assistant Accountant is required for a well known Lloyds Syndicate based in the City. This position would be working within the specialist Treasury & Investments team. The main duties will be to accurately reconcile and review investment data in the financial general ledger system. This position will encourage development and progression within whilst providing support to study an accountant qualification.

This varied, highly involved role would include Monthly/quarterly reconciliations of balance sheet, Assisting with the Treasury Manager, shadow operations/fund movements, monitor cash flow balances, assist with the migration of investment data, handling general ledger amendments, suggest changes in current process's/procedures, clearing unreconciled items, execute monthly/quarterly SOX controls and handling queries.

This position requires someone who has had a background in investments and treasury. Knowledge of Excel & Access and dealing with third party services providers. You will be either a part qualified, ACCA or ACA and AAT qualified or someone who has just commenced their accounting qualifications.
