A leading global investment banking, securities and investment management firm that provides a wide range of services worldwide to a substantial and diversified client base that includes corporations, financial institutions, governments and high-net-worth individuals is seeking an ambitious Derivatives Operations Analyst with strong derivative product knowledge a must.

The Margin Lending Group, within Margin, Valuations & Pricing is a global team responsible for margin risk monitoring and collateral management of Prime Brokerage clients. The team covers products across the OTC Derivative range, including: Interest Rate and Equity Swaps, Credit Derivatives, Fixed Income & Equity Options, FX Derivatives and Commodities. The role will involve a high degree of interaction with external hedge fund clients, as well as many internal groups including Business Reps, Credit, Risk, IT, Sales & Trading and Operations groups across all derivative classes.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

*Daily monitoring of margin and collateral exposure for Prime Brokerage clients.
*Validating and ensuring all margin calls are issued on a timely basis and collateral is received to mitigate the firm's credit risk.
*Following up on margin calls and working closely with clients the Prime Brokerage Business Reps, Credit to ensure all margin calls are met in a timely manner.
*Resolution and escalation of all client disputes and queries.
*Monthly Interest and coupon settlement.
*Responding to all incoming queries and interacting with many different areas of the bank including Prime Brokerage, Credit, Sales, Trading, Middle office, Legal and Settlements.
*Proactively working on enhancing the process and controls.
*Project and initiative management and participation within the team and across all regions.

To be a successful Derivatives Operations Analyst you will need to have strong analytical skills as well a proven working knowledge of derivative products. You must posses an ability to deal with multiple complex issues at the same time, while demanding timeframes.
