A strong, high-calibre professional is required for a VP position within the fund platform of one of the world's largest and most prestigious private wealth managers.


The fund platforms group is part of the alternative investments area of the global equities division with EMEA. These alternative investment areas covers hedge fund and equity structured funds.


Within the fund platforms group, this role sits in the platform monitoring and management team. Its objective is to oversee the daily running of the funds on the platforms. This involves:

- Perform investment management function for a number of fund platforms

- Working with fund managers, fund administrators and prime brokers to support day-to-day aspects of trading.

- Control all aspect of the business in terms of operations, accounting and risk management.


Responsibilities focus upon the investment management of the fund (which covers: collating and placing orders, FX and cash management, valuation etc.) as well as reviewing NAV calculations by the fund administrator.


Experience of hedge funds is required for this role. You will have solid product experience - especially equities (including derivatives). Candidates with solid fund administration or fund accounting experience, preferably with exposure to hedge funds, will be highly regarded.
