A Project Associate is required for a prestigious hedge fund manager. The role is based in London.


The role is based in middle office of the hedge fund manager. The hedge funds manages a range of complex global macro strategies . Middle office are responsible for testing the functionality of any upgrades or enhancements to these systems and ensuring that the implementation of the enhancements or upgrades does not affect the current infrastructure except in the manner intended.


This role is well placed to contribute to improving the functionality of the systems and processes used, which makes an important contribution to the effectiveness of the department.


Key responsibilities will be to devise test scripts that can be run on the test platform through the current infrastructure. You will be reviewing the results and feeding back issues to the developers, as well as feeding back issues to users to enable efficient problem resolution.


Sound knowledge of portfolio admin istration processes for equity and credit products is required for this role. Knowledge of testing theory and methods would be an advantage but will be trained if necessary. You will have demonstrable project experience in running test trades through trading systems and managing the results.
