My client, one of the world's most eminent and highly respected investment banks requires a compliance associate to join its control room in London. Being responsible for a number of compliance activities including Chinese Wall policies and adherence to the Market Abuse Directive key responsibilities and duties of the role are as follows;

*Liaising with the business in order to maintain the central compliance list.
*Pre-approve and chaperone all communications between the business ensuring compliance requirements are met.
*Review and amend when necessary research ensuring compliance within the applicable rules, regulations and policies.
*Respond to queries from the trading and sales team.
*Reviewing and applying global regulations in relation to the UK Takeover Panel, the Market Abuse Directive and US regulations.
*Interaction with colleagues regarding overseas jurisdictions and regulations.
*Involvement in projects that will enhance and develop the existing team.

Ideally you will have previous control room compliance experience combined with the ability to work to tight deadlines. It is also desirable that you are a good communicator and able to quickly learn new information and adopt new skills.
