• City of London £55,000 - £65,000 p/a Permanent

An exceptional Financial Planning & Analysis Accountant is required by our client to facilitate value added management reporting, performance management, forecasting and budgeting, to assist management in aligning the operation with its strategic goals. Our client offers a wide range of financial services to our private and corporate clients from our offices throughout the UK and the Channel Islands.

The role operates within UK Finance and is aligned with the Financial Control team that also includes Financial and Regulatory reporting, Product Management, Operations and Control.

The key responsibilities for the Financial Planning & Analysis Accountant include:
-Develop and implement a driver-based budget and rolling re-forecast model
-Prepare and monitor the quarterly forecast to ensure the business is running in line with the
budget and medium term plan (MTP)
-Prepare the annual budget in conjunction with business area feedback and shareholder targets
-Update the medium term plan in response to changes in business drivers and in conjunction
with the Corporate Strategy team
-Produce monthly management information reports and value added analysis to support local
decision-making process

The successful candidate must be a qualified accountant (ACMA, CIMA, CPA) ideally with financial services experience. You should also have proven track record managing the budget and forecasting process.
