An outstanding opportunity for an experienced Risk Manager to join a prestigious financial services organisation that is renowned for offering candidates a highly competitive package and a diverse range of careers prospects.

As a Risk Manager you will play a key part in the development of the risk and control environment and culture within the organisation. You will lead a team of 5 Risk Managers and be responsible for ensuring an effective second line of defence model, managing relationships with key stakeholders.

You will ensure the development and maintenance of an adequate, effective and sustainable control environment and provide review and challenge to the business on risk management controls and management. The Risk Manager will be expected to create a model of flexible resource identifying and utilising the particular skill sets within the team. You will ensure adequate and effective reporting of risk matters ensuring delivery of timely and consistent risk reporting.

The Risk Manager will develop strong and effective relationships with key stakeholders both internally and externally. You will enhance the overall risk and controls culture within business units. To be considered for this outstanding opportunity it is essential you possess an in-depth knowledge of operational risk management processes and their supporting systems and have the ability to deliver flexible solutions in a changing environment. You should have proven management experience and the ability to provide strong leadership to a team of risk managers driving performance and continuous improvement. You should have the ability to deliver continuous improvement to the risk framework.
