This excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic Financial Analyst has arisen within a highly respected fund management firm. The ideal candidate will be working within the financial analysis and planning team which has responsibility for our clients performance reporting and financial planning process. Established for over 70 years, our client has firmly believed in offering their clients straightforward products together with clear and balanced information to help them make the right investment decisions for their needs.

The key responsibilities for the Financial Analyst include:
-Review of expenses in the ledger on a monthly basis and submission of journal entries to
Group Accounts
-Preparation of monthly cost reports for cost centre managers and consolidated reports for the
heads of central cost functions eg. HR, Finance, Legal and Risk
-Quarterly meetings to present variance reports to management
-Monthly submission of headcount information and cost drivers, for actual and forecast, for use
in the cost allocations model
-Review of actual and forecast allocations output from the model
-Coding of invoices to relevant cost centres
-Maintenance of authorised signatory listings

Our client is seeking a part qualified/finalist accountant who's studying for professional exams and ideally a minimum 1 year experience in similar role with experience of Financial Institutions. You should also have a sound grasp of the fundamentals of management accounting principles.
