A Consultant Relationship Manager is required for an eminent international investment bank. The role is based in London.


This is a role for a senior relationship manager on the global consultant relations team covering several tier-1 consultancies and a number of smaller ones. The role involves extensive internal communication with investment teams, other business units and senior management.


Responsibilities will be to maintain and strategically develop consultant relationships in the UK, including field consultants as well as manager research teams. You will support the efforts of the institutional sales force with perspective on consultant issues touching on sales opportunities. You will also work with client account managers to prepare for new business opportunities.


Extensive experience in institutional relationships in investment banking, investment consulting or investment management is required for this role. You should demonstrate the necessary gravitas and communication skills to gain respect of consultants and colleagues. Knowledge of legal, technical and investment issues facing UK pension funds would be helpful, but not essential.
