This excellent opportunity for a Regulatory Reporting Analyst has arisen within a highly respected fund management firm. Established for over 70 years, our client has firmly believed in offering their clients straightforward products together with clear and balanced information to help them make the right investment decisions for their needs.

The purpose of the role is to ensure our client meets the requirements imposed upon it under Insurance Company Legislation through regular monitoring of asset positions and completion of periodic FSA returns to ensure it continually adheres to those requirements and through the maintenance of Investment Management Agreements.

The key responsibilities for the Regulatory Reporting Analyst include:
-Assist in the production of annual and quarterly FSA returns
-Monitor Regulatory investment restrictions
-Investigate breaches of investment restrictions
-Liaise with Front Office, management and clients to ensure that appropriate action is taken.
-Assist with the interpretation and application of existing Insurance Company Legislation and
any amendments arising in the future
-Continually monitor and improve, where necessary, the processes, controls and procedures
associated with above.

The successful candidate should have a thorough knowledge of financial markets from an operational perspective including experience of client reporting, preferably within a fund management business. You should also have experience of financial accounting and FSA reporting and Insurance Company Legislation
