• Chief Accountant - Cyprus

• Cyprus €40,000 - €50,000 p/a Permanent

A well established organization with worldwide operations is seeking to employ a Chief Accountant.

Responsibilities include:
-Supervise maintenance of accurate and complete accounting records
-Direct reporting line of the Senior Financial Accountant and the Financial Accountants
-Ensure full compliance with Cyprus Stock Exchange, local tax, VAT and statutory requirements
-Preparation of monthly consolidated financial statements
-Preparation of management accounts
-Ensure smooth running of Financial Accounting team
-Participation in the preparation of the Company Accounting Manual, in compliance with IFRS

Candidate Profile:
-3 years post qualification experience, preferably in an international company
-Professional Accounting Qualification (ACA, CPA, ACCA)
-Business planning, financial management skills & Solid knowledge of IFRS
-Strong interpersonal skills
-Knowledge of English is a must (Greek will be considered an advantage)
